Once the initial consultation is completed, the fertility specialist will request for series of fertility investigations/tests to be done.
The outcome of these investigations will provide clues to the underlying causes of infertility, information about the client’s current fertility profile and also serve as a treatment guide.
In BEPOS Hospital and Fertility Centre, our various Fertility Laboratory Tests are as follows:
Ovarian reserve test
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) and Prolactin Assay
Day 21 Progesterone (test for ovulation)
Seminal Fluid Analysis (SFA) & SFA (Microscopy culture and sensitivity)
AMH Assay

Blood Group & Genotype
Serology: HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Syphilis- for infectious disease screening
Pap Smear
High vaginal & Endo-cervical swabs for microscopy & culture
Ancillary tests (Full Blood Count & malaria parasite, Fasting Blood Sugar, Renal Function Test, Liver Function Test and Lipid Profile)
PGT ( sex selection and chromosome abnormalities)
