Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) formerly known as Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) and Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) involves screening cells for genetic diseases and chromosomal disorders from embryos. This technique is performed with in-vitro fertilization (IVF); as it involves the extraction of cells from the developing embryo to provide the genetic composition of the embryo.
There are three types of Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT):

- PGT- A
- PGT- SR
