Assistive Technology/ Prosthetics

Our trained Physiotherapists provide evaluations and take a decision when our client needs a wheelchair, adapted stroller or other positioning and mobility equipment. We work with our prosthetics consultants to develop alternate limbs or assistive devices to make sure our clients get the help they need.

Orthotic and prosthetic training

Our Physiotherapist work with our in-house prosthetist and orthotist to evaluate our client to determine if orthotics devices for the hips, legs or feet can help with positioning and movement. If so, we design a useful device just for client need to enable our Physiotherapist work with client with lower limb prosthetics to improve their balance and ability to walk, run, play and effectively participate in activities of daily living.
