The top class 12-lead ECG machine at Integrated Occupational Health Centre is used to perform Stress ECG tests. A Stress ECG, also known as a Exercise ECG, is a diagnostic test that evaluates the heart’s response to increased physical activity or stress.

During a Stress ECG test, the patient is connected to the 12-lead ECG machine using electrodes placed on the chest, arms, and legs. The patient then exercises on a treadmill or a stationary bicycle, gradually increasing their level of exertion as directed by our healthcare professionals.

As the patient exercises, our 12-lead ECG machine records the electrical signals generated by the heart. This helps monitor changes in the heart’s electrical activity, heart rate, and rhythm during physical stress. It helps in the detection of any abnormalities like arrhythmias, ischemia, or other cardiac conditions that may only occur during exercise or stress.
