In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

IVF is the process of fertilization by extracting eggs, retrieving a sperm sample, and then manually combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory dish. The embryo(s) is then transferred to the uterus.

Pursuing an IVF cycle can seem overwhelming at first, but you aren’t alone. At Primecare Fertility Clinic, our goal is to provide the highest quality fertility treatments. Our team also offers educational tools and emotional support to our patients.

Most of the treatments and procedures involve the woman. However, our fertility center encourages the partner to also take part in an in vitro fertilization cycle. Daily injections, frequent appointments, ultrasounds and blood tests are all part of the process for the female partner. She must also undergo an egg retrieval and an embryo transfer. To support her, we encourage the partner to administer the injections and attend appointments whenever possible. This treatment is an exciting commitment that couples make to each other as they work together to fulfil their dream of having a baby.
